May also include mentoring ASTI | PEA employees from varying disciplines; such as civil engineering, architecture, environmental science and landscape architecture to provide an educated staff base during times of heavy workload.\nManages project budgets and analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, billing rates and staff utilization.\nFacilitates meetings with project team for project evaluation and group improvement.\nPrepares client-billing information on assigned projects. \nIdentifies additional scope and revenue opportunities that relate to the project and participates in business development activities.\nPrepares, reviews and executes project contracts, change orders, and manages project scope in general.\nProvides on-going communication with the client related to the project.\nCoordinates the evaluation of all property conditions and establishes ratings of all the components along with establishing a detailed condition report and costs for repairs or replacements.\nCollaborates with marketing and business development to develop both existing and new clients.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nFormal Education, Licenses and Certifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field and/or demonstrable experience.\nUSGBC LEED and/or IFMA CFM or SFM accreditation preferred but not required.\nKnowledge and Experience\n10+ years facilities management or property management experience required, 15+ years’ experience preferred.\nGeneral understanding of building and period construction\nKnowledge of local, state and federal regulations.\nKnowledge of the following facility related services;Roofing; evaluations, repair or replacement design, construction oversight\nPavement; inventory, condition surveys, maintenance and rehabilitation planning and design, construction oversight\nMechanical, electrical and plumbing systems\nFacility grounds; evaluation and design of landscaping, wayfinding signage, hardscapes, lighting, ADA compliance.\nBuilding code\n\nCompetencies and Personal Attributes\nDemonstrated ability to manage staff and multi-discipline projects.\nProven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, possess the desire to develop new clients, and expand the services of existing clients.\nSelf-motivated and the ability to motivate others.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to function effectively in teamwork environment.\nGood mentoring skills.\nStrong well-developed conflict resolution skills and ability to focus on client satisfaction.\nAccurate and precise attention to detail.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing these duties, an employee is required to complete site visits at commercial, industrial and multi residential facilities. Site visits to access facility grounds, parking areas and low pitch roofs.\nAvailability\nThis is a full-time position.
