At revel8, we redefine cybersecurity training with hyper-realistic simulations that reflect today’s evolving attack landscape. Our innovative platform combines AI-driven multi-channel attacks with gamified, real-time learning to build resilience where it matters most: the people.Your mission\nOur platform simulates attacks that look and feel real - and the product our customers use every day should feel just as sharp. As our Product Design Intern, you work directly with product and engineering to shape how revel8 looks, feels, and works. You sit right at the line between design and code, turning ideas into prototypes, making our platform accessible to everyone, and growing the design system that keeps it all consistent. Success looks like a product that feels more polished, more accessible, and faster to build on than when you joined. How your day-to-day will look like:\n User Flows & UI Design: You map out user flows and design clean, intuitive interfaces in Figma (or your design tool of choice), turning complex security workflows into experiences that feel simple.\nPrototyping with Product & Engineering: You work hand in hand with our product and engineering teams to design and build prototypes, test ideas quickly, and help bring new features from concept to production.\nAccessibility: You audit our platform for accessibility issues and fix them, making sure revel8 works for every user, not just most of them.\nInteraction Polish: You obsess over the details that make a product feel great: states, consistency, spacing, and motion.\n Design System: You improve and extend our design system, adding new components and patterns so the whole team can build faster and more consistently.\nIs it you we are looking for?\nYou...are currently enrolled in a Master’s program and available for a full-time internship, starting as soon as possible.\nhave an online portfolio that shows how you think, not just what you shipped.\nhave a strong eye for detail in layout, typography, and hierarchy - a misaligned pixel bothers you more than it should.\nbring a basic understanding of accessibility and accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG) and care about building for everyone.\nare comfortable working with Figma files, from navigating complex libraries to keeping your own files clean and handover-ready.\nare curious about LLMs and excited to explore how they can change the way we design and build.\nare fluent in English, enabling seamless collaboration within our international team.\nBonus:Strong HTML and CSS skills, plus knowledge of React or TypeScript - you can take a design all the way into code.\nHands-on experience working with or contributing to a design system.\nExperience working with Git.\nAn interest in cybersecurity and the human side of it.\nWhy revel8?\nOur revelutionary Energy: Join a team that’s ambitious, kind, and genuinely excited about what we’re building. We move fast, we have fun, and we treat each other well.\nKickstart your career: You’ll work on a real product used by real customers, see your designs ship, and get the kind of ownership and impact you only get in an early-stage startup.\nNew Munich Office: We thrive on an office-first culture and moved our whole team from Berlin to Munich in February - unlimited coffee, table soccer and good vibes included.\nYour Daily Balance: EGYM Wellpass so you can take care of your body while you’re in startup mode.\nStay with us: Strong performers often continue with revel8 in a working student role or full-time position after the internship. We love growing talent we’ve already worked with.\nReady to join the revelution?\nPerfect, let’s talk!Just submit your application, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. In case you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Helena from our People & Culture Team.
