Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve service levels, optimize transportation and warehouse operations, control costs, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.\n\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nDevelop and execute comprehensive logistics and freight operating plan aligned with organizational goals and objectives.\nLead site warehouse managers and their teams across receiving, inspection, put-away, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping and dock execution.\nEstablish common warehouse standard work, labor expectations, capacity plans, slotting rules and material-handling flows across all assigned locations.\nOversee the day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation scheduling, inventory management, and warehousing activities.\nOwn inventory-control governance, including serialized accuracy, cycle counting, reconciliation, quarantine, adjustment controls, customer-owned inventory and aging inventory.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with transportation providers, freight forwarders, and other third-party vendors.\nEstablish freight audit controls and review free-freight, prepaid-and-add and customer-account exceptions to prevent unbilled freight and margin leakage.\nManage carrier damage and shortage claims, including evidence standards, submission timeliness, aging, escalation, recovery and recurring-cause analysis.\nEnsure accurate commercial invoices, packing lists and international shipping records; coordinate classification, origin, licensing and sanctions questions with the designated compliance owner.\nBuild operating dashboards and conduct daily and weekly reviews covering service, inventory, freight, labor, risk, corrective actions and revenue readiness.\nImplement safe warehouse practices, training and incident corrective actions in partnership with Quality, Safety and Compliance.\nLead process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and mitigate operational risks.\nIdentify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize transportation routes, minimize freight costs, and reduce overall logistics expenses.\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning to drive performance excellence.\n\nEDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.\nProven experience in logistics management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.\nIn-depth knowledge of transportation modes, freight forwarding, customs regulations, and international trade practices.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.\nProficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS).\nDemonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of building high-performing teams and driving results.\n\nTYPICAL PERFORMANCE TARGETS\nSERVICE DELIVERY: Sustained, measured excellence in project & process delivery\nCOST TO SERVE: Sustained, measured excellence in delivery efficiency with expected continuous improvement\nINNOVATION: Step changed delivery in safety, quality, and/or cost\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nPrimary language used in daily operations is English.
