Respond to QMS. \nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES \nAll employees are responsible for ensuring that quality issues and customer satisfaction arising from their own activities are managed according to customer requirements, the quality policy and DBK procedures. \nRepair and Maintenance of electronic equipment such as: Barcode Readers, Mobile Computers, POS Machines, Fusers, Printers, etc. \nReplacement of Certain Faulty Components such as: connectors, cables, fuses, etc. (Level I Technicians have limited use of soldering equipment and are not allowed to replace critical components unless in close supervision of a Level II/III technician or a supervisor. \nReplacement of Cosmetics deemed to be worn out or unacceptable based on Peak Technologies’ quality guidelines. \nSoftware and Firmware update to electronic equipment. \nMaintain Cost-Effective levels through the use of good practices, judgment and utilization of time, equipment and inventory of new/used parts. \nMinimize and decrease Repeat-Repairs. \nRecord Entry for repaired devices into Peak Technologies Tech Parts Inventory System. \nMaintain a clean and organized work area. \nEDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS \nTechnical background in electro-mechanical devices such as printers, kiosk/ATM devices, or equivalent experience. \nAssociate degree and/or 2-4 years of equivalent work experience in field service or similar industry \nCertification in information technology or process improvement training desired. \nOperate within division or department policy guidelines using nearly independent judgment in achieving assigned objectives. \nRead and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. \nApply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. \nEscalate issues discovered while performing required tasks. \nPrioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. \nBasic computer skills are required. \nSelf-starter and motivated to perform effectively during times of high demand. \nUse and understanding of test/lab equipment such as Voltmeters, Power Supplies, Bench Tools, Soldering Equipment, etc \nAssembly and disassembly of electronic equipment \nTroubleshooting of electronic equipment \nExposure to limited amounts of noise.\nTYPICAL PERFORMANCE TARGETS \nSERVICE DELIVERY: Sustained, measured excellence in project & process delivery \nCOST TO SERVE: Sustained, measured excellence in delivery efficiency with expected continuous improvement \nINNOVATION: Step changed delivery in safety, quality, and/or cost\nLANGUAGE SKILLS \nPrimary language used in daily operations is English.
