This role involves on-site work at customer locations and includes installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and operation of vision-guided robotic systems. The engineer works with a variety of camera technologies and robotic platforms and must be comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Travel and shift work are required.\n\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nConfigure and support vision-guided robotic systems for part handling and inspection applications.\nWork directly with Keyence, Photoneo, and Matrox camera systems to set up and maintain machine vision capabilities.\nIntegrate vision systems with Fanuc robotic platforms, ensuring accurate calibration and reliable performance.\nSupport installation, testing, and validation of systems at customer sites.\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to vision hardware, software, and robotic integration.\nCollaborate with team members and customers to ensure successful system deployment and operation.\nMaintain a professional presence and communication with customers during on-site support.\nComply with shift schedules and travel requirements to support operations.\nPerform additional duties as assigned within area of expertise.\n\nEDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS\nExperience with vision-guided robotic applications, including part picking, placement, and inspection.\nProficiency in working with Fanuc robots and associated vision integration.\nAbility to work independently or collaboratively with engineering and customer teams.\nStrong communication skills and professional customer engagement.\nReliable transportation and ability to travel to customer sites.\nAvailability for shift-based work.\nDegree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, or Mechatronics Engineering (preferred).\nAIA (Automated Imaging Association) certification (preferred).\nKnowledge of Fusion 360 for mechanical modeling or layout (preferred).\nFamiliarity with PLC controls and automation system integration (preferred).\n\nTYPICAL PERFORMANCE TARGETS\nSERVICE DELIVERY: Sustained, measured excellence in project & process delivery\nCOST TO SERVE: Sustained, measured excellence in delivery efficiency with expected continuous improvement\nINNOVATION: Step changed delivery in safety, quality, and/or cost\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nPrimary language used in daily operations is English.
