maintaining inventory for designated purchase orders; gathering and preparing materials for shipment; and assembling industrial control panels according to provided specifications, drawings, and bills of material.\nThis position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to accurately manage materials through receiving, inventory, assembly, and shipping activities.\n.\n\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nReceive incoming shipments and verify materials against purchase orders and available shipping documentation.\nIdentify the appropriate purchase order, project, or internal destination for received materials.\nDeliver received materials to the correct internal location based on purchase order or project requirements.\nIdentify and report damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies.\nMaintain an organized receiving and material staging area.\nInventory and track designated materials associated with specific purchase orders.\nOrganize and identify materials to maintain accurate project-specific inventory.\nGather and stage components according to bills of material (BOMs).\nVerify gathered materials against the applicable BOM or project documentation.\nIdentify and communicate missing, incorrect, or damaged components.\nMaintain accurate material and inventory information using applicable company tracking methods and systems.\nGather materials and equipment according to bills of material and project requirements.\nOrganize materials into complete project or shipment packages.\nPalletize, package, and secure materials for shipment.\nLabel and stage completed shipments for pickup or delivery.\nHelp ensure that components and materials are properly protected and organized prior to shipment.\nAssemble industrial control panels according to provided specifications, drawings, and bills of material.\nInstall and mount components and hardware within control panels as specified.\nVerify that required components are available for assembly.\nMaintain organized and properly identified project materials throughout the assembly process.\nIdentify and report missing, incorrect, or damaged components.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area.\nFollow applicable company safety and quality requirements.\n\nEDUCATION + EXPERIENCE + KEY TRAITS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nPrevious experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, material handling, manufacturing, or control panel assembly preferred.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data entry, maintaining spreadsheets, sorting and filtering data, and updating inventory, purchase order, and material tracking information.\nAbility to accurately identify, organize, and track parts and materials.\nAbility to read and follow purchase orders, bills of material (BOMs), drawings, and written work instructions.\nBasic mechanical aptitude and ability to use common hand tools.\nAbility to manage materials for multiple projects or purchase orders while maintaining proper identification and separation.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to identify and communicate material shortages, discrepancies, and other issues.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nTYPICAL PERFORMANCE TARGETS\nSERVICE DELIVERY: Sustained, measured excellence in project & process delivery\nCOST TO SERVE: Sustained, measured excellence in delivery efficiency with expected continuous improvement\nINNOVATION: Step changed delivery in safety, quality, and/or cost\n\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nPrimary language used in daily operations is English.
