As our Founding Engineer, you’ll be a co-architect of everything we build at Blueberry. You’ll be responsible for shaping the technical foundation of the company: product, platform, and team culture.\nYou’ll work directly with the founders and founding engineering team to:\nBuild and scale the core product that enables brands to authentically engage millions of followers.\n\nMake foundational architecture and stack decisions that allow us to move fast today while preparing for global scale tomorrow.\n\nTranslate customer needs into elegant, resilient technical systems that balance speed, quality, and reliability.\n\nSet the tone for our engineering culture - one that is high-caliber, collaborative, and deeply product-minded.\n\nYou’ll have massive influence over how Blueberry evolves, from the codebase to the customer experience to the engineering org itself.\nTech Stack: Convex, Next.js, AI SDK, and more\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild customer-facing features end-to-end that directly impact how brands engage their followers, from requirements through launch.\n\nTurn real customer feedback and usage data into product improvements that feel intuitive and reliable.\n\nCollaborate deeply with design to translate flows and interactions into well engineered solutions.\n\nPrototype quickly, ship often, and iterate based on usage and metrics.\n\nMaintain and improve code quality, tooling, and test coverage so the product remains reliable as we scale.\n\nBuild, monitor, and improve operational telemetry and observability for user flows that matter.\n\nWork across the stack with a focus on delivering delightful user experiences while balancing performance and scalability.\n\nContribute to technical standards and practices that help the engineering team move fast with confidence.\n\nParticipate in architectural discussions that will influence how the system scales and performs.\n\nWho You Are\nA full stack engineer with 3 plus years of professional experience building SaaS, AI enabled, or consumer applications.\n\nComfortable moving fast in an early stage environment and shipping features that land in the hands of real customers.\n\nYou take initiative and care deeply about the quality of your work.\n\nYou do not just point out problems, you roll up your sleeves and solve them.\n\nYou hold yourself to a high bar and look for clean, maintainable solutions.\n\nYou bring a clear point of view on what excellent code and product experience looks like while staying collaborative and low ego.\n\nEntrepreneurial by nature, you thrive in ambiguity and enjoy shaping product from the ground up.\n\nYou want to build with others who share the same high standards and ownership mindset.\n\nFamiliarity with AI or large language model powered products.\n\nBackground building consumer facing products, personalization engines, or customer data systems.\n\nPrevious early stage startup or founding team experience.\n\nExperience with social media APIs such as Instagram, TikTok, or Meta.\n\nExperience writing infrastructure for observability, performance monitoring, or alerting.\n\nWhy Join Us\nOwn meaningful product early.
