To learn more about Pearce visit http://www.pearce-services.com.\nYour Impact\nPearce is seeking Experienced Controlled Environment Vault (CEV) HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside within 60 miles of Madison, Wisconsin area.\nCore Responsibilities\nPerform work on underground Controlled Environment Vaults (CEVs).\nService forced-air heating systems, air conditioning units, hydronic heating systems, refrigeration equipment, and complete HVAC systems.\nTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment and all related mechanical and electrical components.\nPerform preventative maintenance and operational testing on HVAC and electrical systems.\nTest electrical circuits and components for continuity using appropriate electrical test equipment.\nLayout, connect, and verify electrical wiring between controls and equipment in accordance with wiring diagrams.\nTroubleshoot low-voltage control systems and read/interpret electrical ladder schematics.\nDemonstrate working knowledge of underground gas monitoring systems (including Sierra 2400, Sierra 2450, and Quest control systems).\nMaintain basic plumbing systems, including sump pumps.\nSpecific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.\nCore Experience\nMust be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).\n2+ years of experience of demonstrated competency of HVAC comfort systems, including professional-level diagnostics and service.\nPossess strong working knowledge of pumps, dry coolers, and cooling towers.\nComplete all required safety and technical training.\nFollow all safety practices and quality standards as outlined in company safety manuals and project documentation\nMust be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.\nPhysical/Work Environment\nAt Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards.\nCandidates should reside within 60 miles of Madison, Wisconsin area.\nCore Responsibilities\nMust be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.\nExtensive daily travel in an independent work structure.\nOccasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides per diem. \nDriving to remote work sites as needed.\nBe exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.\nLift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).\nWill be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.\n Compensation: $24.00-$38.00 hourly/DOE\nAt Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices.
