To learn more about Pearce visit http://www.pearce-services.com.\nYour Impact\nThe Experienced Travel Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Technician in the PEARCE Renewables Energy Storage Systems (ESS) division performs tasks involving operations and maintenance (O&M) and physical labor at commercial and industrial solar energy projects located throughout United States.This is up to a 100% travel role across the United States.\nCore Responsibilities\nTroubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) equipment and Data Centers.\nPerform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) of equipment as an authorized person and under properly performed LOTO conditions.\nConduct daily safety and task planning discussions including pre-task planning, Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs).\nInteract with vendors and customers in a professional manner.\nAct as a team member to support site work which could include supervising field work onsite focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.\nSpecific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.\nCore Experience\n2+ years of electrical proficiency relating to electrical systems and components is required.\n2+ years of Renewable energy experience is preferred.\nA commitment to safety and attention to detail with the ability to recognize potential issues and provide safe solutions.\nPost-secondary education is preferred.\nElectrical certifications are preferred such as OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and NFPA70E.\nExcellent written and verbal skills to meet Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) internal and external requirements is required.\nPhysical/Work Environment:\nAt Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.\nThis is a travel position-travel will be required for up to SIX weeks at a time. A per diem will be provided when traveling. \nCandidates must have a valid driver's license for at least a year. \nWork possible rotating shifts (100% travel is required for this position).\nProlong standing and working in ergonomic challenging positions.\nVaried climates based upon locations.\nCompensation: $25.00-$30.00 hourly/DOE and Per Diem\nAt Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices.
