To learn more about Pearce visit http://www.pearce-services.com.\nYour Impact\nThe Pole Attachment Specialist should have hands-on experience supporting OSP telecommunications projects involving utility poles, attachment applications, permitting, and utility coordination.\nCandidates should understand the pole attachment process from engineering review through application and approval, including coordinating with pole owners and other utility companies to obtain required permissions.\nCore Experience\nExperience with pole attachment applications, permitting, and approval processes.\nStrong understanding of utility coordination, including working with electric utilities, telecommunications providers, cable companies, and other pole owners.\nExperience communicating with utilities through email, phone, and utility systems/portals to obtain attachment approvals and resolve outstanding issues.\nExperience with Ziply Fiber projects or similar utility/pole attachment coordination is strongly preferred.\nOSP engineering experience sufficient to understand pole infrastructure and attachment requirements.\nAbility to review and interpret work prints, engineering drawings, and design documents.\nUnderstanding of power placement and telecommunications attachments on utility poles.\nExperience identifying pole ownership and determining the appropriate utility or jurisdiction responsible for approvals.\nExperience preparing, submitting, tracking, and managing pole attachment permits/applications through final approval.\nAbility to identify potential conflicts or deficiencies that could delay attachment approval.\nFamiliarity with aerial fiber construction and OSP engineering workflows.\nExperience coordinating with engineering, permitting, construction, and utility teams.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple applications, approvals, and deadlines simultaneously.\nKnowledge of NESC standards and utility-specific pole attachment requirements is preferred.\nCore Qualifications\nStrong OSP engineering knowledge with direct pole attachment and utility coordination experience\nExperience reviewing pole designs, work prints, and engineering documents\nUnderstanding of power and telecommunications placement on utility poles\nAbility to identify pole ownership and determine appropriate approval requirements\nExperience working directly with utilities and cable companies to secure pole attachment permissions and approvals\nExperience preparing, submitting, tracking, and managing pole attachment applications\nZiply Fiber experience or experience with similar telecom providers is highly preferred\nExperience coordinating with multiple utilities, pole owners, and telecommunications providers\nBroader experience with OSP engineering, permitting, utility coordination, aerial fiber design, and pole attachments is highly valued\nCandidates with overlapping OSP skills may also be considered for other related positions\nAt Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices.
