To learn more about Pearce visit http://www.pearce-services.com.\nPearce is seeking talented and motivated candidates for theSenior Network Engineer role, responsible for the design, implementation, administration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure supporting global data center, cloud, campus, and branch environments. Provides advanced engineering expertise across routing, switching, cloud networking platforms, security, wireless, SDWAN, network segmentation, and load balancing. Serves as a technical lead for complex infrastructure initiatives, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and operational excellence across all network services.This hybrid role requires two days per week in a Dallas-area office. Candidates currently based in the Dallas area are preferred; relocation assistance is not available.\nKey Responsibilities \nDesign, deploy, and support enterprise network infrastructure utilizing Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, ISR, Meraki, and Juniper/HPE networking platforms to include Mist. \nSupport cloud networking infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including network security, load balancing, connectivity, and hybrid-cloud integration. \nConfigure and maintain advanced routing and switching environments using BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RPVST+, VPC, and other enterprise networking protocols. \nDeploy and support Palo Alto firewalls, VPN technologies, IDS/IPS solutions, URL filtering, Layer 7 security policies, and Zero Trust security architectures. \nEngineer and manage Network Access Control (NAC) solutions utilizing Cisco ISE, Forescout, and 802.1X authentication for enterprise segmentation and policy enforcement. \nManage enterprise wireless infrastructure including Cisco and Juniper Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs), access points, RF optimization, roaming services, and wireless security. \nConfigure and maintain F5 load balancing platforms including LTM, GTM, APM, and application delivery services to ensure application availability and performance. \nAdminister IPAM, DNS, DHCP, certificate services, and related network management platforms. \nDesign, implement, and maintain WAN and SDWAN solutions including MPLS, DIA, VPLS/EVC, DWDM, and cloud connectivity services. \nAdminister and optimize Cisco ACI software-defined networking (SDN) environments to improve network scalability, segmentation, and automation. \nMonitor network performance and capacity using NetFlow, SNMP, Syslog, IP SLA, packet capture tools, and other network monitoring solutions. \nPerform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis across network, cloud, security, and application delivery environments. \nDevelop automation and scripting solutions to streamline network provisioning, monitoring, configuration management, and operational processes. \nLead infrastructure projects from design through implementation, coordinating with project managers, vendors, security teams, and business stakeholders. \nCreate and maintain network diagrams, engineering standards, operational procedures, and technical documentation. \nProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and network operations personnel. \nParticipate in incident management, change management, capacity planning, and technology lifecycle management activities. \nEvaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations to improve reliability, performance, security, and operational efficiency. \nQualifications \n8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise network engineering and infrastructure operations. \nExpert knowledge of Cisco and Juniper routing, switching, and data center technologies, including Cisco ACI, Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, and ISR platforms as well Juniper Mist. \nStrong experience with Palo Alto firewalls, IPS/IDS technologies, VPN solutions, and network security architecture. \nExperience designing and supporting SDWAN, WAN, cloud networking, and enterprise segmentation solutions. \nWorking knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP networking services and hybrid-cloud architectures. \nExperience with Cisco ISE, NAC technologies, wireless networking, F5 load balancing, and network monitoring tools. \nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. \nBachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. \nIndustry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, Azure Network Engineer, AWS Advanced Networking, or equivalent preferred. \nCore Technologies \nCloud Networking Azure, AWS, GCP, Cisco ACI, Nexus 9000/7000/5000, Catalyst 9000, ASR, ISR, Catalyst 8000, Cisco Meraki, Juniper Mist, Palo Alto, Cisco ISE, Forescout, NAC, Zero Trust, SASE, VPN, IDS/IPS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VPLS, SDWAN, F5 LTM/GTM/APM, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, NetFlow, SNMP, Syslog, and Wireless LAN Controllers. \nAt Pearce, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices.
