To learn more about Pearce visit http://www.pearce-services.com.\nYour Impact:\nThe Telecommunications Equipment Installer - Level III will provide detailed installation, removal, and maintenance of Data Center, Telecom and Wireless equipment which includes Transmission, Power, and Fiber systems with supervision.\nCore Responsibilities: \nBe a part of installation teams at customer locations across the country.\nOperate vehicles, hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and test equipment.\nMust have mastered installation skills per Telco Standard TP76300 and be able to perform all the duties of the Installer Level 3 or 2 with a high degree of competency and accuracy.\nMust possess comprehensive equipment installation skills on a wide variety of installations and systems including AC/DC Power systems, low/high-density fiber systems, inside plant iron Infrastructure, and supervisory /alarm systems.\nMust maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage, staging and work areas on-site.\nComprehensive level of understanding of all general company policies and practices, safety procedures, paperwork, and administrative requirements.\nAbility to read, understand, and apply job/equipment specifications, installation documents, schematics.\nSpecific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.\nCore Experience:\nMinimum 3+ years installation experience or combination of experience and training as determined by company management.\nExperience with AT&T Central Office installation practices a plus.\n DC Power Installation experience a plus.\nAbility to physically place, remove, or modify working and non-working equipment including the following:\nCable trays and/or racking\nData equipment cabinets and frames, data servers, switches, routers, repeaters, bridges, gateways, multiplexers, transceivers, firewalls\nBDFBs and fuse panels\nIdentify, label, measure, terminate and physically route the cables that supply AC and/or DC power or transmit data in various technical spaces.\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to conduct instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram forms.\nMust have proficient laptop computer skills and experience with applications.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nMS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) skills a plus.\nPossess a knowledge of tools necessary to complete advanced assignments and installations.\nMust have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass all pre-employment background checks and must be insurable. Valid Passport a plus!\nPhysical/Work Environment:\nAt Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.\nMay be required to work in a raised floor environment. May be required to work in small crawl spaces and/or shaft ways. May be required to work in Telecom superstructure utilizing ladders and lifts.\nMust be able to vertically lift 50lbs. Required to stand, walk, climb ladders, and crawl in tight spaces.\nFully understands all company/customer policies and procedures and safety requirements.\nTravel required in your home region and in the US without restrictions.
