You’re someone who can take ownership of meaningful components, contribute to system design, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.\nYou’ll work across several core product areas where AI is central to the product experience.\nThis role contributes to three critical product areas:\nReal-Time Clinical AI Workflows: Build and improve systems that capture clinical audio, stream transcription, and generate structured documentation using LLMs\n\nAgentic Systems: Contribute to systems that process events, leverage LLM tool-calling, and automate actions across internal and external tools\n\nDental Data Intelligence: Help develop pipelines that ingest, normalize, and enrich data from practice management systems\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild and maintain real-time transcription and LLM-powered summarization pipelines\n\nContribute to agentic systems (tool-calling workflows, integrations, and safety guardrails)\n\nDevelop across the stack: Node.js/TypeScript APIs, React frontends, PostgreSQL, and AWS\n\nSupport event-driven architectures using Kafka, SQS, or similar technologies\n\nWrite reliable, testable code with a focus on maintainability and observability\n\nCollaborate on prompt engineering and evaluation of AI outputs\n\nHelp monitor, debug, and improve system performance and reliability\n\nWork with AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude) to enhance productivity\n\nPartner with senior engineers on system design and technical decisions\n\nWhat You’ll Need to Succeed\n5+ years of professional experience in software engineering\n\nStrong sense of ownership over your work and ability to deliver independently\n\nAbility to navigate ambiguity and contribute to problem-solving\n\nExperience building backend services with Node.js / TypeScript\n\nExperience with React and modern frontend development\n\nFamiliarity with AWS (Lambda, SQS, S3 preferred)\n\nExperience with PostgreSQL and data modeling fundamentals\n\nExposure to event-driven systems (Kafka, SQS, etc.)\n\nFamiliarity with LLM-based systems (prompting, structured outputs, or tool usage)\n\nExperience writing tests and working with production systems\n\nComfort using AI-assisted development tools in your workflow\n\nNice to Have\nExperience in healthcare or dental technology\n\nExposure to agent frameworks or LLM orchestration patterns\n\nExperience with ETL pipelines or data integration\n\nMulti-tenant SaaS experience\n\nInfrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Serverless Framework)\n\nWhat We
