Reporting to Lead of Responsible AI, this role will help teams apply Pearson’s\nResponsible AI principles and governance framework to AI-enabled products and systems,\nsupporting responsible design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.\nKey Responsibilities\nAI Governance Implementation\nHelp product and engineering teams embed Responsible AI into their flow of work = the\nAI lifecycle.\nModel & System Documentation\nSupport efforts to maintain clear technical documentation, and decision logs to support\ngovernance reviews, audit readiness, and continuous assurance.\nTesting & Quality Assurance\nContribute to defining best practices for benchmarking, evaluation, red-teaming\ncoordination, model monitoring, and review activities that assess AI performance, and\nreliability.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork with colleagues to embed responsible practices into technical delivery.\nQualifications & Skills\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, data science,\nengineering, information systems, statistics, human-computer interaction, ethics, or a\nrelated field.\nEarly-career experience with AI/ML, data science, software delivery, technical product\nwork, model evaluation, risk assessment, or technology assurance.\nWorking knowledge of AI/ML concepts and interest in their ethical, legal, operational,\nand learning-impact implications.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical issues\ninto clear governance documentation.\nClear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, governance, legal, privacy,\nand security stakeholders.\nHigh ethical standards and integrity.\nWhy Pearson?\nThis role offers an opportunity to contribute to an enterprise-wide Responsible AI capability at\nthe world’s lifelong learning company.
