exploring potential solutions based on fit, up-skilling need, team skillsets, cost, and current and long-term strategies\n\nWhat Skills You Need\nSelf-starter who can also work with a team to deliver superior customer service\n\nKnowledge of financial principles and business analytics.\n\nAbility to work with multiple internal teams to provide the best experience for our customers\n\nUnderstanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints.\n\nAbility to analyze and produce meaningful insights from large datasets\n\nStrong analytical background with an aptitude for understanding technology\n\nExperience with advanced Excel functions required\n\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, IBMCloud, etc.\n\nWhat Makes You Stand Out\nExperience with Cloud billing and cost management tools and processes\n\nExperience in cost management tactics such as enterprise-wide discount programs and commitment plans (Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Spot, Sustained Use/Committed Use Discounts)\n\nExperience with 3rd party cloud cost optimization tools (Cloudability)\n\nUnderstanding of database and big data management capabilities and constraints (RDBMS, NoSQL, Datalake, etc)\n\nExperience managing or developing automation with object-oriented programming languages (Java, Python) and understanding of appropriate use\n\nExperience with the AWS Cloud platform and leveraging appropriate AWS services (e.g. S3, Lambda) as part of developmentof automated solutions.\n\nExperience leveraging REST API for extracting and/or posting data\n\nUnderstanding of building and deploying Agentic AI\n\nQualifications\nEducation (or equivalent work experience)\nUndergraduate or master's degree in computer science, management information systems, data analytics\n\n+5 years of experience in IT (Business Analytics, Project Management, IT Finance)\n\nCompensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York State, New York City, Vermont, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:\nThe minimum full-time salary range is between $100,000 - $115,000.\nThis position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program, and information on benefits offered is here.\nApplications will be accepted through 14th September 2026.
