Documentation and collaboration remain essential parts of the role.\nWhat you'll do\nPartner with product owners to design, implement, and maintain backend components for digital products.\nCollaborate in cross-functional teams to define objectives, requirements, and timelines.\nLead projects and advocate for backend best practices, supporting strategic and innovation initiatives.\nArchitect scalable backend services and APIs, including AI integration and deployment of microservices. \nOperationalize AI models with data science teams and ensure system reliability and scalability. \nMaintain technical documentation and mentor junior engineers.\nChampion continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.\nLead and influence the software development lifecycle, adhering to best practices like DevOps, Clean Code, and DDD.\nEnsure security and compliance, working closely with relevant teams.\nStay updated on industry trends and recommend processes or technical improvements.\nWhat we're looking for\nWe're looking for a highly autonomous engineer who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, taking ownership, and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-moving environment.\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nProven experience in software engineering principles, development processes, technologies, extreme development methodologies and practices and industry trends for Development and QA.\nHands-on experience with programming languages such as Python\nProficiency in at least one of the modern cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)\nProficiency in best practices for software engineering (code review, multi-stage testing, CI/CD) \nExperience with scalable development (Docker, Kubernetes) \nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.\nSome experience with data processing (building pipelines, data versioning) \nWorking experience in Agile practices, product and project management principles.\nCommitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment.\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
