Pearson Field Research contracts with Psychologists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other such professionals to function as examiners who identify potential candidates, administer the assessments, and return the results back to Pearson.\nAbout the Role\nThis position within Field Research will support examiners, improve operational processes, and help keep research projects moving smoothly from setup through completion.\nThis role is the primary point of ownership for examiner technology support, including iPad management, digital testing readiness, and troubleshooting. The position also supports test processing, scoring operations, examiner payments, inventory management, project execution, and process improvement across Field Research.\nWe are looking for an operations-minded problem solver who enjoys supporting people, improving workflows, and using technology, automation, and AI to help the team work more effectively. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative team environment, builds strong working relationships across functions, and can also work independently to manage priorities, solve problems, and drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision.\nWhat You'll Do\nExaminer Technology & Digital Testing Support\nServe as the primary point of contact for examiner iPad setup, digital testing support, and technical troubleshooting. \nManage device inventory, deployment, recovery, maintenance, and supporting records. \nCreate clear job aids, training resources, and troubleshooting documentation for examiners. \nPartner with internal teams to identify, escalate, track, and resolve technology issues. \nField Research Operations\nSupport test processing, scoring coordination, examiner payments, inventory management, project tracking, and other operational activities. \nProvide flexible support across workstreams during peak periods, special projects, and changing business needs. \nCollaborate with cross-functional partners to support accurate, timely, and efficient project execution.\nProcess Improvement & Innovation\nIdentify recurring problems, process gaps, and opportunities to simplify work, improve quality, and reduce manual effort. \nDevelop and maintain workflows, procedures, process maps, and standard work documentation. \nHelp evaluate and implement new tools, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that improve the examiner and employee experience. \nUse data and operational insights to recommend practical, scalable process improvements. \nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, information systems, educational technology, project management, psychology, research, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, customer support, technical support, or a related field. \nStrong operational problem-solving, critical-thinking, and process improvement skills. \nExcellent organization, communication, customer service, and follow-through. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment. \nProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint. \nThis position is based in the local office and requires regular onsite presence. The role may require working onsite between 50% and 100% of the time, depending on business and operational needs. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.\nPreferred\nExperience supporting iPads, mobile devices, digital platforms, or remote users.\nExperience improving workflows or creating procedures, job aids, and training materials. \nFamiliarity with AI tools and the ability to identify practical uses for AI in operations, documentation, analysis, or customer support. \nFamiliarity with Microsoft Intune, SharePoint, automation tools, or similar technologies. \nExperience in educational testing, assessment, research, field operations, inventory, or logistics.\nIdeal Candidate\nThe successful candidate is curious, adaptable, and comfortable moving between examiner support, daily operations, and process improvement. They do more than complete tasks: they investigate problems, identify root causes, recommend solutions, and help build better ways of working.\n\nCompensation at Pearson is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, and location.\nThe full-time salary range for this role is $70,000- $78,000 annually.\nThis position is eligible for Pearson’s annual incentive program.
