In this role you will need to be self-motivated, diligent, and able to meet business and project demands within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You may be responsible either for multiple projects or for one larger project within a program, which often requires multiple resources and functional integration. You should be familiar with project or program objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the program delivery team. You will spend considerable time communicating with the customer and other stakeholders (vendors, cross-functional teams, subcontractors) involved in the delivery of assigned projects or programs to ensure customer satisfaction. A successful Specialist, Partnership Management, will anticipate opportunities and issues proactively as well as manage scope using project management applications and tools. Finally, you should enjoy working with a diverse team of dedicated and passionate professionals.\nResponsibilities:\nCustomer Relationship Management \nEstablish and maintain positive and productive relationships with internal resources and external customers.\nProvide outstanding customer service. Be responsive and timely in responding to questions, concerns, and requests.\nServe as a point-of-contact to the customer and cross-functional teams for day-to-day execution.\nInterpret and meet customer expectations and requirements to ensure outstanding customer satisfaction.\nProject Management\nProject responsibility through the life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).\nMaintain the project management plan, customer requirements, project schedule, and other documentation required to effectively manage program deliverables as assigned.\nNetwork with all project stakeholders and resources (including customers, internal shared services groups, subcontractors and vendors) to meet project goals.\nEnsures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.\nSupports implementation of SOWs and contracts.\nManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.\nImplement approved actions to mitigate project risk events.\nIdentify opportunities for process and quality improvements which promote cost reduction and implement initiatives, and monitor the effectiveness of changes made.\nMeasure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances (scope and costs), perform any required corrective actions, and communicate results to all stakeholders.\nAssist in change control process including tracking, writing scope documents, and gathering estimates and pricing. Thoroughly evaluate any proposed scope change by involving entire project team; establish and maintain documentation to control scope.\nIdentify and track risks, including implementing the approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events to minimize the probability of realization.\nExecute the tasks as defined in the project plan and schedule to meet customer deliverables.\nPrepare and present internal and external reports on program status, risks and other program related issues.\nBusiness Development \nSupport the Manager, Partner Success, with project and program level new business initiatives including managing and writing statements of work and change requests as needed.\nFinancial Management \nSupport Manager, Partners Success, with financial reviews and documentation necessary to ensure that contract is maintained within budget and margin expectations.\nIdentify process improvement initiatives to reduce cost while maintaining quality.\nQualifications/Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree desired or commensurate experience.\n2-3 years of experience in a project management role.\nPMP certification or demonstrate an understanding and application of Project Management Institute (PMI) principles. (Preferred)\nFlexibility in the workplace.\nAbility to make decisions based upon limited information.\nDemonstrate ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities, and work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.\nSignificant experience with customer service and project management.\nUnderstand team dynamics and foster a positive team environment.\nHigh sense of urgency and attention to detail required.\nEffective verbal/written communication skills, strong listening, negotiation and facilitation skills and the ability to develop and deliver presentations.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.\nSome travel required.\nReady to Join Us?\nIf you're ready to make an impact in education, we're eager to hear from you.
