You will leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, platform engineering practices, and AI-driven operational tooling to improve security, consistency, scalability, and developer experience across our cloud estate.\nThis is a highly technical, hands-on engineering role focused on cloud automation, governance, security, and platform reliability.\nWhat You'll Do\nCloud Platform Engineering\nDesign and build cloud governance and enablement services across multi-cloud environments (GCP, IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure).\n\nDevelop reusable platform capabilities that accelerate secure cloud adoption.\n\nImplement and maintain cloud account/project onboarding frameworks.\n\nDesign and manage enterprise cloud networking, security, and connectivity patterns.\n\nMaintain integrations with observability, monitoring, logging, and security platforms.\n\nBuild and manage secure ingress protection services including WAF and DDoS controls.\n\nDesign enterprise logging, telemetry, and SIEM integration patterns.\n\nDevelop and maintain golden VM images and hardened infrastructure baselines.\n\nInfrastructure as Code & Automation\nBuild and maintain Terraform-based cloud provisioning frameworks.\n\nDevelop automation using Python, Go, Ansible, Bash, and cloud-native APIs.\n\nCreate reusable modules, templates, and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure delivery.\n\nImplement automated testing, validation, compliance, and policy enforcement controls.\n\nDrive platform modernization through automation-first engineering practices.\n\nCloud Governance & Security\nTranslate security, compliance, and governance requirements into cloud-native policies and guardrails.\n\nDefine and implement enterprise cloud governance standards.\n\nPartner with Security, Architecture, and Engineering teams to establish secure access control models.\n\nImprove cloud posture management through automation and continuous compliance monitoring.\n\nDesign scalable governance frameworks that balance security with developer productivity.\n\nAI & Intelligent Operations\nDesign and implement AI-assisted and agentic workflows to streamline cloud operations and governance activities.\n\nExplore and deploy automation capabilities leveraging AI/ML technologies.\n\nDevelop operational tooling that improves incident response, remediation, and platform insights.\n\nReliability & Operations\nOperate and support business-critical cloud management platforms.\n\nParticipate in an on-call rotation supporting cloud platform services.\n\nDrive reliability, availability, and performance improvements.\n\nImplement robust observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational support patterns.\n\nTechnical Leadership\nAct as a technical SME for AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and IBM Cloud platforms.\n\nMentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.\n\nPartner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\n\nContribute to platform strategy, architecture, and roadmap planning.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\nExperience\n5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.\n\n3+ years of hands-on experience building Infrastructure as Code solutions.\n\n3+ years of experience operating cloud platforms at enterprise scale.\n\nExperience working in multi-cloud environments.\n\nStrong understanding of cloud security, governance, networking, and automation.\nCandidate must be available during US business hours through the training period.
