This role requires deep technical expertise, strong architectural thinking, and leadership in delivering intelligent, data-driven capabilities leveraging Salesforce technologies, including Agentforce and Data Cloud.\nKey Responsibilities\nCore Development\nLead the design and development of complex Salesforce solutions\nBuild and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and SOQL/SOSL queries\nDevelop Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura components, and Visualforce pages\nArchitect scalable automation using Flows and platform tools\nDesign and implement robust integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware)\nOptimize system performance, scalability, and reliability\nEnforce development best practices, coding standards, and governance\nConduct code reviews and mentor junior developers\nTranslate business requirements into technical designs\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues\nSupport CI/CD pipelines and release management\nAI & Agentforce Leadership\nLead design and implementation of Agentforce-powered solutions\nDefine AI agent architecture, behaviors, and orchestration patterns\nIntegrate Agentforce with Flows, Apex, Data Cloud, and external systems\nDrive prompt design, agent optimization, and performance tuning\nEstablish AI governance, security, and compliance standards\nPartner with stakeholders to identify AI-driven automation opportunities\nMonitor, evaluate, and continuously improve AI agent effectiveness\nData Cloud Responsibilities\nLead integration and activation strategies using Salesforce Data Cloud\nDesign data ingestion, identity resolution, and harmonization models\nImplement calculated insights, segmentation, and real-time activation\nIntegrate Data Cloud with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and external platforms\nEnsure data quality, compliance, privacy, and governance\nCollaborate with data architects, analytics, and business teams\nOptimize performance when working with large-scale datasets\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)\n7+ years of Salesforce development experience\nDeep expertise in:Apex, Triggers\nLightning Web Components (LWC)\nSOQL/SOSL\nSalesforce Flows & Automation\nSalesforce APIs & Integrations\n\nStrong understanding of Salesforce architecture & governor limits\nAdvanced knowledge of Salesforce security model\nExperience with DevOps, Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines\nProven ability to lead technical initiatives\nAI / Agentforce Expertise\nHands-on experience with Agentforce / Salesforce AI capabilities\nUnderstanding of AI-driven workflows & conversational design\nExperience integrating AI agents into enterprise processes\nKnowledge of AI governance, ethical AI, and data privacy\nData Cloud Expertise\nExperience implementing or supporting Salesforce Data Cloud\nUnderstanding of data unification, identity resolution, segmentation\nExperience with real-time activation & personalization use cases\nKnowledge of data governance & compliance frameworks\nPreferred Qualifications\nSalesforce Certifications relevant to the role and experience\nAdditional certifications (Application/System Architect) are a plus\nExperience with:Sales Cloud / Service Cloud / Experience Cloud\nEnterprise-scale Salesforce implementations\nIntegration platforms \nEvent-driven architecture\n\nKnowledge of design patterns & scalable solution frameworks\nCompensation at Pearson is influenced by factors including skill set, experience, and location.\nThe full-time salary range for this role is $145,000 - $160,000.\nThis position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.Information on benefits can be found here.\nApplications will be accepted through 15th October 2026.
