PebbleRoad is a Singapore-based strategy, design and innovation practice. We help organisations in their digital transformation journey by aligning their strategic vision, creating digital experiences and building internal capabilities.
We started our practice in 2004 with one objective: to do impactful work. This single-minded pursuit has guided who we hire, who we work for, our work, and our decisions.
We work with clients such as DBS (Singapore), Digi (Malaysia), Sinar Mas (Indonesia), ADB (Philippines), CLP (Hong Kong) and many government agencies in Singapore.
We adopt a horizontal structure emphasising self-management, flexibility and growth. You can also read more about our culture on our LinkedIn page (https://www.linkedin.com/company/pebbleroad/).
The role
As an OutSystems Platform Support Engineer, you'll look after an on-prem OutSystems platform that Singapore government agencies rely on every day. You'll run platform upgrades and patches, check the installation is healthy, assess how server and infra upgrades affect it, and handle deployments and incidents within agreed SLAs.
You'll work with our OutSystems developers, client infra teams and client stakeholders, keeping the platform stable, secure and compliant with government standards and audit requirements.
What you'll do
Plan and run OutSystems version and patch upgrades (O11, and ODC where used), with testing and rollback plans
Run regular health checks of the on-prem installation: Service Center, LifeTime, front-end and database servers, logs and performance
Assess the impact of server, OS, database and infra upgrades on the platform, and coordinate with infra teams
Run deployments across environments via LifeTime, following change management
Apply security patches and fix findings from vulnerability scans, penetration tests and advisories
Handle incidents within SLA, find the root cause and write the RCA
Keep runbooks, platform documentation and release notes up to date
Prepare monthly SLA and platform health reports
Now and then: small app fixes, Forge component updates and user support
- Work with clients and the team to prioritise the maintenance backlog
What we're looking at
3+ years with OutSystems, including platform admin on O11 (Service Center, LifeTime, upgrades, deployments)
Working knowledge of Windows Server, IIS and SQL Server or Oracle
Networking and SSL certificate basics, and comfortable troubleshooting with logs and SQL
Familiar with ITIL-style incident, problem and change management, and working to SLAs
Experience with government or other regulated environments, and with security fixes and audits
Clear communicator with both engineers and non-technical client teams; calm under pressure
Based in Singapore
- Nice to have: ODC experience, OutSystems certification, scripting (e.g. PowerShell)
Location and work setup
This role is based in Singapore, with our office at 52a Tanjong Pagar Road. Some work happens on-site with government clients; otherwise we're flexible and remote-friendly within Singapore.
