The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling innovative solutions that enhance our user acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features and contribute to the success of Pebl’s growth objectives.\nYou will be reporting to the Engineering Manager of Software Engineering. This role requires in-office presence in our Palo Alto office, Monday-Wednesday.\nHow You'll Make an Impact:\nCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.\n\nArchitect, develop, and maintain applications and services using TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS in a serverless environment.\n\nOptimize systems and processes to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.\n\nLead by example in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.\n\nMentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.\n\nContribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.\n\nStay current with emerging technologies and best practices to continuously enhance our technology stack.\n\nLet's Connect If You Have:\nBachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\n\n5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on backend and serverless architecture.\n\nExperience with TypeScript, Postgres, and AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, etc.).\n\nExperience with software design patterns, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.\n\nA lean mindset - Focus on delivering customer value by minimizing waste, optimizing workflows, fostering continuous improvement, and prioritizing in an iterative manner.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented mindset.\n\nExperience with growth-focused projects or optimizing user journeys is a plus.\n\nOur Commitment to You\nAt Pebl, we’re committed to supporting our team with comprehensive rewards and benefits designed to meet diverse needs across roles and locations.
