Leading retailers, marketplaces and e-commerce businesses rely on us to make urban delivery faster, more sustainable and more efficient.\n\nOur proposition is: bring sustainable logistics infrastructure closer to consumers. With a strategic investor on board and clear ambitions to expand nationwide, we’re entering an exciting new phase of growth, building on a strong operational foundation and scaling Peddler to the next level.\n\nAs we grow, our focus is simple: continuously explore better ways to operate, improving planning, productivity, processes and cost efficiency while building an operation that can scale sustainably.\n\nIf you enjoy turning operational complexity into simple, engineering scalable solutions, you’ll feel at home at Peddler.\n\n Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Regional Operations Manager, you will work closely with our Head of Operations as the bridge between Peddler’s hubs and HQ. Your focus is on designing, improving and standardising how our hubs operate across the network.\n\nYou will work closely with Hub Managers and Hub teams to understand operational challenges and turn those insights into clearer processes, SOPs, tools and operating standards. Using data and feedback, you will identify bottlenecks, improve productivity and cost efficiency, and ensure improvements are implemented consistently across all hubs.\n\nAs Peddler grows, you will help turn what works today into a repeatable operating model that can be rolled out across new locations.\n\nThis role is for someone who combines structured process thinking with real-world operational understanding and enjoys bringing clarity, consistency and continuous improvement to a growing network.\n\nWhat you'll do\n\nOperational Execution & Support\n\n Oversee daily delivery operations across active cities, proactively identifying and resolving issues that impact service quality or cost.\n\n Work closely with Hub Managers and operational teams to ensure smooth day-to-day execution and consistent performance across cities.\n\n Take ownership of core operational initiatives and act as a key point of contact for hub-related operational topics.\n\nProcess Improvement & Scalability\n\n Implement and continuously improve standardised processes to increase hub efficiency, operational quality and cost control.\n\n Identify operational gaps and lead practical improvement initiatives from problem identification through implementation and follow-up.\n\n Partner with cross-functional teams (Tech, Finance, HR, Sales, and Planning) to coordinate smooth rollouts of operational changes.\n\n Build and maintain clear process documentation to ensure operational consistency and support the launch and scaling of new cities.\n\nData & Performance Tracking\n\n Monitor daily operational KPIs and analyse local performance data to identify actionable insights, including Hub CPO, workforce planning, hub-related unfinished or failed deliveries, on-time hub readiness, and SOP/process compliance, while driving measurable operational improvements.\n\n Translate data into practical operational fixes, identifying root causes and friction points across hub and delivery workflows.\n\n Prepare routine performance updates, identify trends and risks, and drive follow-up actions with operational stakeholders.\n\nAbout you\n\n 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, engineering, e-commerce or supply chain management, ideally within a fast-scaling or service-oriented environment (logistics, e-commerce, or direct-to-consumer).\n\n Proven track record of owning day-to-day operations and coordinating teams across multiple locations or operational areas.\n\n Strong analytical skills; you are comfortable using data to identify problems, prioritise opportunities, and implement pragmatic solutions.\n\n Strong understanding of day-to-day operational realities; you enjoy being close to field operations while also looking for ways to improve how the operation runs.\n\n Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and take ownership in a fast-changing environment.\n\n Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across operational and cross-functional teams.\n\n Professional fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.\n\n Hands-on, proactive, and structured, with the ability to balance daily troubleshooting with longer-term operational improvements.\n\n Available 40 hours per week and based in the Netherlands (onsite role).\n\nWhy Join Peddler\n\nPeddler is entering an exciting new phase. With strong strategic backing and nationwide expansion ahead, this is an opportunity to join while there is still plenty to build, improve and shape.\n\nWe are a driven, entrepreneurial team that values ownership, curiosity and continuous improvement. Good ideas can come from anywhere, and we expect people to speak up, challenge how things are done and turn ideas into practical improvements.\n\nFor someone who enjoys building structure, improving efficiency and seeing the direct impact of their work, Peddler offers the opportunity to grow alongside the company while helping shape how our future network operates. And while we take our ambitions seriously, we also want to build a team that genuinely enjoys working and spending time together.","description_format":"text","description_chars":5522,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"Netherlands","iso":"NL","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Commerce"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-09T18:15:15Z"},{"event":"close","at":"2026-10-29T18:15:45Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":null,"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/peddler-regional-operations-manager-2","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/peddler-regional-operations-manager-2.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-01T07:14:50Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":11298,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-02T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":4376928},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=4376928"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fpeddler-regional-operations-manager-2"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fpeddler-regional-operations-manager-2"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fpeddler-regional-operations-manager-2"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/peddler-regional-operations-manager-2\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fpeddler-regional-operations-manager-2"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":2193894}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"peddler.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":2193894},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
