The BT/RBT does not design intervention or assessment plans. The supervising BCBA determines and assigns tasks for the BT/RBT to perform as a function of higher training, experience, and competency levels.\nWork directly under the supervision of the BCBA\nHelp implement the treatment plan developed by the BCBA, parents, and therapists\nAssist in observational assessments with the BCBA\nPrepare materials as needed for sessions\nImplement appropriate teaching procedures determined by supervising BCBA\nMaintain HIPAA compliance, child/employee confidentiality\nMaintain visual supervision of the child at all times; NEVER leaving a child unattended\nRepresent the program to parents, visitors, and the public in a positive way\nMaintain a clean, safe, healthy, and sanitary learning environment\nWork with supervisor to develop high level of behavior analytic expertise and grow in practice and performance\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nMinimum Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma / GED\nComplete 40 hours of paid training by supervising BCBA- must be completed within 90 day period once hired\nPass the RBT competency assessment conducted by supervising BCBA\nPass the RBT exam through BACB to become a Registered Behavior Technician\nPass a criminal background check and drug screen\nAnnual Requirements:\nPass the RBT competency assessment conducted by supervising BCBA\nComplete annual renewal through BACB\nReceive ongoing supervision and comply with BACB’s ethics requirements\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle, lift, feel, and reach. The employee is frequently required to stand and stoop, twist, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
