Pediatrics Plus provides internship opportunities for undergraduate students every semester. Our program is designed to deliver a supervised and structured learning experience, offering students meaningful, hands-on work related to their field of study or career interest. Participants begin with an orientation to Pediatrics Plus and collaborate with their mentor/supervisor to set specific learning objectives. The mentor/supervisor assigns projects that encourage career exploration, skill development, and learning. This internship program not only allows Pediatrics Plus to bring new ideas and energy into the workplace but it also develops talent and builds a pipeline for future full-time roles.\nWhat you will do:\nA Pediatrics Plus Intern will assist with tasks and activities in an assigned department.\nSupport leadership staff as needed.\nAssist with day-to-day tasks.\nConduct research, gather data, and prepare reports as needed.\nParticipate in meetings and actively engage with the team.\nAssist with department specific projects.\nAssist with other special projects as assigned.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nWhat you have:\nAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people.\nStrong time management skills.\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changes quickly and efficiently.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, and other company documents.\nAbility to author routine reports and correspondence.\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.\nBasic computer skills which include a working knowledge of keyboarding, database, word processing, spreadsheet, and Internet software.\nReports for work dressed appropriately and complies with company policies regarding the dress code.\nAbility to maintain regular and punctual attendance.\nAbility to complete tasks in a timely manner.\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nMust be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to accurately communicate information and ideas so others will understand through sight and hearing.
