Learn more about our transformative work at http://peepulindia.org\nAbout the Role To provide support in day-to-day IT operations, with a focus on software, email systems, user support, IT security, and basic troubleshooting. Responsibilities would include (but not limited to):\nProvide first-level support for software, email, internet, and user-access-related issues.\nSupport installation, configuration, and updating of software and applications.\nAssist in managing official email accounts, user access, and basic IT systems.\nMaintain records of IT assets, software licences, users, and IT-related issues.\nAssist in identifying and reporting phishing, suspicious emails, cyber-security threats, and other potential IT frauds.\nSupport data backup, access control, and basic IT security practices.\nCoordinate with external IT vendors/service providers when required.\nPrepare basic IT reports and documentation.\nAssist the IT Officer in other technology-related activities and projects. Qualification & Skills\nEducational Background: Pursuing MCA / BCA / B.Tech (IT/Computer Science) or equivalent.\nTechnical Skills: Basic knowledge of operating systems, networking, MS Office/Google Workspace, email systems, and software applications.\nOther Skills: Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, basic understanding of cybersecurity and data protection, good communication and documentation skills, and willingness to learn and work across different IT requirements.\nPreferred Experience: Prior exposure to IT helpdesk or user support, familiarity with basic cybersecurity practices, or hands-on experience with office IT systems will be an added advantage. Potential for Continuation The internship will initially be for 3 months. Based on performance, learning ability, and organisational requirements, the intern may be considered for continuation as an IT Associate subject to appraisal and vacancies arising at Peepul.
