In this role, you will operate and monitor our tube laser equipment to produce high-quality parts used in our products. If you have experience with laser cutting, CNC equipment, or metal fabrication-and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment-we encourage you to apply. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn.\nThis position will work Monday - Friday, from 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm.\n Education\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nExperience\nExperience operating a tube laser, cutting laser, CNC machine, or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.\nMetal fabrication or manufacturing experience is a plus.\nForklift or material handling equipment experience is beneficial but can be learned on the job.\nSkills\nBasic computer skills.\nAbility to read measurements and perform basic math.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nMechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nEssential Responsibilities\nSet up and operate tube laser equipment according to production schedules.\nLoad raw material and unload finished parts safely and efficiently.\nPerform machine changeovers, including tooling and lens changes as needed.\nInspect parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.\nEnter production information accurately into the manufacturing system (Acumatica).\nWork closely with the Laser Programmer to identify opportunities for program improvements and increased efficiency.\nPerform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on the machine and surrounding work area.\nSafely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required.\nFollow all company safety policies and operating procedures.\nMeet daily production and quality goals.\nAssist with other manufacturing duties as assigned. \nWORKING CONDITION:\nMust be able to work overtime, including weekends as needed.\nMust be physically capable of standing/bending/stooping/squeezing 8+ hour shift(s)\nMust be able to lift, carry and/or move up to 30 lbs. without assistance.
