This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facility systems throughout the Peet’s Coffee roasting plant to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.\nThe Maintenance Technician is expected to demonstrate strong teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Regular and dependable attendance is an essential function of the role.\nSchedule: This position works Monday- Friday, 3rd shift, 8:00pm-4:30am\nHourly Wage: $32-45/hour\nWhat You Will Do:\nPerform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment according to the maintenance schedule.\n\nDiagnose and repair filling and assembly lines as needed.\n\nInterpret and utilize system error messages on related equipment.\n\nUnderstand roasting equipment operation which includestheoperation of HMIs.\n\nBe able to work on bag slitters and pallet lifter.\n\nPerform diagnosis and repairs onhydraulicandpneumatic systems.\n\nRead and interpret electrical diagrams as per equipment repairs and diagnosis.\n\nPossess the ability to use and understand multimeters.\n\nRepair facilities related items, doors, dock levelers, lights, ballasts, sinks, drains, and general grounds maintenance.\n\nAssists with roasting equipment maintenance which will require the ability to work on ladders and use basic hand and power tools.\n\nPerform and assist in line change over and setups.\n\nWho You Are:\n3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance; experience in food manufacturing or packaging is preferred.\n\nStrong electro-mechanical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and related equipment.\n\nSelf-starter who is organized, dependable, and able to work independently while also being a strong team player.\n\nBilingual skills are a plus.\n\nBoiler experience is helpful.\n\nComfortable using computers for accurate data entry, accessing equipment manuals, and documenting maintenance activities.\n\nExperience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or the ability and willingness to learn one.\n\nCommunicates clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholders and partners.\nThrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; adaptable and responsive to changing business needs.\nMust be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as well as occasional overtime.\n What Benefits do Peetniks Receive?\nAt Peet's we hire the best people and are committed to supporting our employees and rewarding them for their work.
