They must ensure all areas of the building and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained, including performing regular landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal. The role requires effectively conducting personnel relocations and setups, assisting contractors and vendors to ensure quality work, and providing input on facility improvements.\n\nEssential Job Functions\nIndependently identifies and resolves building and equipment problems by performing various job duties such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and HVAC work\nReviews contractors and vendors as they relate to facility operations and providing input on facility improvements\nPerforms immediate cleaning duties necessary to maintain building, grounds, and facilities, making sure all areas are clean, safe, and well maintained \nPerforms lawn maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal\nGathers information to provide recommendations on improvements/modifications to direct supervisor \nPerforms duties related to office relocations, including desk set ups\nAssists vendors and contractors to ensure their work is correctly performed with quality work and completed in a timely manner,\nConducts corrective action and preventive maintenance\nUnderstands the proper use, disposal, and hazards of chemical materials (e.g., paints, wood primers, roof coatings, caustic acids, etc.).\nCompletes building audits and safety inspections, performing necessary corrective action or reporting items to necessary personnel\nCompletes maintenance work orders and follows up with requestor\nPerforms other duties as assigned \nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nTypically requires 0-2 years of related experience\nCertifications & Licenses\nN/A\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nBasic ability to:\nCommunicate effectively in both oral and written form\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions\n Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry practices\n Strong organizational and time management skills\nWork as a team member and follow directions\nMaintain and care for hand and power tools\nBasic skill in:\nManaging one’s own time and the time of others\nThe use of standard tools and equipment of the profession\nDetermining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job\nPerforming routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed\nProblem Solving Skills, Attention to Detail\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.\nPay Range:\n$19.23 -$24.00 hourly This range is based on the expected level of experience and skills for this position.
