If you’re ready to build something that makes a difference, be part of a team that protects what matters most. \n\nWhat You'll Do: \nAs a Foam Assembler, you will help manufacture custom foam inserts and cushioning solutions that ensure Pelican products deliver exceptional protection and performance. This hands-on role combines fabrication, assembly, machine operation, and quality inspection in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nRead and follow part drawings, Bills of Materials, assembly drawings, and work instructions.\nLayout, assemble, and construct foam sub-components and inserts for both new and repeat customer requirements.\nMaximize material utilization while supporting efficient production processes.\nOperate fabrication equipment including vertical, horizontal, and profile saws, die cutting presses, glue applicators, and Water Jet equipment.\nSelect materials and cut foam stock to required dimensions and tolerances.\nAccess production files through the company network and operate Water Jet equipment to produce precision foam components.\nAdjust machine settings and operating parameters based on foam specifications and production requirements.\nInspect foam components and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.\nPerform gluing and lamination operations to assemble finished foam products.\nIdentify and communicate equipment, material, or program issues to leadership as needed.\nMaintain accurate production records and documentation.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.\nFollow company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.\nActively supports and complies with Pelican’s objectives, guidelines and commitment to Safety, Environment and Quality. \nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n2nd Shift, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday - Friday\nMinimum of 1–2 years of manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or production experience.\nAbility to accurately use and read a tape measure.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to read and follow drawings, specifications, and work instructions.\nExperience working with fabrication equipment, cutting tools, or manufacturing machinery is preferred.\nMechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment and processes.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nExperience with hot melt gluing applications is preferred.\nExperience operating Water Jets, saws, die cutting equipment, or similar manufacturing equipment is a plus.\n\nWhat’s In It For You: \n\nJoin a company that truly values its employees!
