If you’re ready to build something that makes a difference, be part of a team that protects what matters most. \n\nWhat You'll Do: \nPelican Products is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to oversee domestic and international tax compliance, reporting, and planning. In this role, you'll help shape tax strategies, identify savings opportunities, and partner with leadership to support the company's global operations.\nOversee all aspects of U.S. federal and state corporate income tax compliance, including the preparation and review of tax returns.\nPrepare and review quarterly and annual estimated tax payments and extensions.\nManage ASC 740 tax provisions, reporting, and compliance, including uncertain tax positions and unrecognized tax benefits.\nOversee additional tax obligations, including sales and use taxes and franchise taxes.\nCoordinate responses to federal and state tax audits, examinations, and inquiries.\nSupport tax budgeting and financial planning activities.\nDevelop domestic tax strategies in partnership with external tax advisors.\nEvaluate existing and new business activities to ensure compliance and identify tax-efficient approaches.\nOversee the accuracy and timely completion of international tax returns across applicable jurisdictions.\nMonitor transfer pricing results, coordinate pricing adjustments, and support domestic and international transfer pricing studies.\nCoordinate Value-Added Tax (VAT) compliance activities.\nManage responses to international tax notices, inquiries, and audits.\nAnalyze financial data to support tax returns, consolidated tax provisions, and financial reporting.\nResearch tax regulations and identify opportunities to reduce tax exposure and improve tax efficiency.\nPresent tax research, findings, and recommendations to senior management.\nPartner with Finance, Accounting, and other departments to ensure consistent tax policies and accurate reporting.\nMaintain tax software and support improvements to tax processes and systems.\nEstablish clear goals, monitor performance, and support the professional development of team members.\nPromote compliance, accountability, and ethical decision-making across tax operations.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For: \nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.\nMinimum of 6 years of experience preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and researching tax issues.\nStrong understanding of U.S. federal and state corporate taxation.\nKnowledge of corporate tax reporting, compliance, and tax planning.\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.\nAbility to communicate complex tax matters clearly and work collaboratively across departments.\nJoin a company that truly values its employees!
