We're headquartered in Paris, with offices in Miami, London and Amsterdam, and we're just getting started.\nThis is a rare chance to join a company that's redefining an industry that hasn't been disrupted in decades - from the inside.\nMission\nAs a Software Engineer (V.I.E.) based in Miami, you will be part of the Product & Engineering team, contributing to the development and scaling of Pelico’s AI-native platform while collaborating closely with both local operations and the Engineering teams in France.\nYou will help build and evolve a platform designed from the ground up to leverage AI, working on impactful software solutions that support complex industrial operations and Pelico’s customers.\nThis role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing, AI-native tech environment, while contributing to the company’s international growth.\nMain Responsibilities\n1. Software Development & Delivery\nDesign, develop, and maintain features across Pelico’s platform (front-end, back-end, or full stack depending on profile).\n\nWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code.\n\nContribute to AI-powered features and capabilities, leveraging AI technologies where relevant to enhance Pelico’s platform and customer solutions.\n\nCollaborate with product managers and designers to deliver impactful solutions to customers.\n\nParticipate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\n2. Technical Support for Client Projects\nSupport the deployment and integration of Pelico’s platform for U.S.-based clients.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with customer success and data teams.\n\nContribute to improving performance, reliability, and scalability of client deployments.\n\n3. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing\nAct as a bridge between the Miami team and the engineering team in Paris.\n\nContribute to global engineering best practices and internal documentation.\n\nSupport onboarding and mentoring of new team members if needed.\n\nProfile\nEducation & Background\nMaster’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.\n\n1-3 years of relevant experience (internships or first job) in software development, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment.\n\nEligible for the V.I.E. program (French or EU citizen, aged 18-28, registered on mon-vie-via.businessfrance.fr).\n\nTechnical Skills\nStrong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.\n\nExperience with modern web frameworks (React, Node.js, Django, or similar).\n\nFamiliarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and APIs.\n\nKnowledge of databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).\n\nUnderstanding of CI/CD, Git, and agile development principles.\n\nInterest in AI/ML technologies and their application to real-world software products.\n\nWhat We Offer\nA unique opportunity to gain international experience while contributing to Pelico’s expansion in the U.S. market.\n\nHands-on exposure to an AI-native SaaS platform and a fast-paced tech environment, with mentoring from experienced engineers.\n\nThe chance to work cross-functionally with product, operations, and customer teams.\n\nAn inclusive and collaborative culture that values learning and innovation.\n\nContract Information\nContract type: V.I.E.
