Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll help support business initiatives and contribute to projects that improve logistics processes and operational performance.\nThis internship is designed to help you develop a deeper understanding of transportation, logistics, distribution, and operational execution while building skills in problem solving, analytics, project management, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nResponsibilities are similar to what we expect of entry-level Supply Chain professionals who join Pella after graduation, providing meaningful experience while contributing to business objectives.\nAs a Logistics Intern, you may:\nSupport transportation and logistics projects that improve efficiency, service, and business performance\nAnalyze data and processes to identify improvement opportunities\nAssist with logistics planning, reporting, and operational initiatives\nPartner with internal and external stakeholders to support transportation, logistics, and operational objectives\nParticipate in continuous improvement efforts related to transportation and logistics processes\nContribute to project work that supports business goals and operational effectiveness\nProjects and assignments will be determined based on business needs and team priorities.\n Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.\nStrong academic standing\nDemonstrated leadership, teamwork, or involvement through campus organizations, work experience, athletics, volunteer activities, or other experiences\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related tools\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to collaborate with and influence others\nDemonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills\nAbility to learn new processes and concepts quickly\nExperience leading projects, initiatives, or team efforts from planning through execution preferred\nAbility to succeed in a fast-paced, collaborative environment\nPreferred Skills & Experience\nInterest in transportation, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations\nExperience analyzing data and identifying process improvement opportunities\nExperience with project work through coursework, campus organizations, internships, or employment\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Compensation for this role is established through Pella Corporation’s internship program.
