The Territory Manager is responsible for the promotion and sales of Weather Shield window and door products in a specified territory. Maintaining current accounts and prospecting new accounts. Promote Weather Shield products across the territory, driving account growth. The ideal candidate will have window and door or similar industry experience and proven success growing accounts and driving sales. The base salary starts at $60,000 and can increase depending on experience, skills, education, location, and market conditions.\n PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nMaintain relations with current established account and develop new accounts.\nSupport accounts with sales training, product samples and attending sales functions.\nMaintain good communication with Sales Managers, Customer Service and Field Service employees.\nWrite business plans, weekly expense reports and monthly sales reports.\nAssist dealers and distributors with product issues.\nPromote product in territory with architects and builders.\nPerform other job-related duties as necessary to fulfill responsibilities of position. \nFrequent travel to accounts within territory may require overnight travel\n KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:\nBachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required. Must have valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of outside sales experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of millwork industry or some experience working with architects or some experience working with high-end building material dealers. Must have good customer service skills, ability to build and maintain relationships. Must be proficient in MS Office and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nWhile performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, keyboards, or keypads. The employee is frequently required to talk, hear, and to reach with hands and arms. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move boxes or products of 25 pounds.
