From designing robust architectures to implementing cutting-edge technologies, you will play a critical role in helping our clients harness the power of digital infrastructure to achieve their business objectives.\n\nEssential Functions:\nEngage with clients to understand their business goals, infrastructure challenges, and technology requirements.\nTranslate client requirements into actionable recommendations and solution proposals, aligning with best practices and industry standards.\nCollaborate with solution architects and technical leads to design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.\nSupport the implementation and deployment of digital infrastructure solutions, working closely with engineering teams and third-party vendors.\nConfigure and deploy cloud environments, virtual networks, and infrastructure components according to design specifications.\nConduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure solution functionality, performance, and security.\nAssist project managers in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities, milestones, and deliverables.\n\nMicrosoft Hyper-V Responsibilities\nDesign, deploy, administer, and maintain Microsoft Hyper-V environments.\nConfigure and manage Windows Failover Clustering for high availability.\nAdminister Hyper-V Replica and disaster recovery solutions.\nCreate, configure, and maintain virtual machines, virtual switches, and storage.\nMonitor Hyper-V host performance, resource utilization, and capacity planning.\nPerform Hyper-V host upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.\nTroubleshoot Hyper-V, Windows Server, clustering, and virtualization-related issues.\nSupport integration with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking.\nAutomate Hyper-V administration using PowerShell.\nMaintain documentation for Hyper-V infrastructure and operational procedures.\nHyper-V Required Qualifications\n5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Hyper-V environments.\nStrong experience with:\nMicrosoft Hyper-V, both Core and GUI installations\nWindows Server\nWindows Failover Clustering\nHyper-V Replica\nPowerShell scripting\nSystem Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM)\nWindows Admin Center\nExperience with enterprise storage technologies supporting Hyper-V.\nExperience implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions.\nStrong understanding of Windows networking and virtualization best practices.\n\nNutanix Responsibilities\nDesign, deploy, and administer Nutanix clusters utilizing AHV.\nManage Prism Central and Prism Element environments.\nConfigure and maintain Nutanix storage, compute, and networking resources.\nMonitor cluster health, performance, and capacity using Nutanix tools.\nPerform lifecycle management (LCM), firmware updates, and cluster upgrades.\nTroubleshoot Nutanix infrastructure, AHV, storage, and networking issues.\nImplement high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection solutions.\nOptimize workloads and resource utilization across Nutanix clusters.\nCollaborate with infrastructure teams on virtualization, networking, and storage initiatives.\nMaintain technical documentation and operational standards.\nNutanix Required Qualifications\n3–5+ years of experience administering Nutanix infrastructure.\nStrong experience with:\nNutanix AHV\nPrism Central\nPrism Element\nNutanix Lifecycle Manager (LCM)\nExperience with Nutanix storage and distributed architecture.\nExperience performing Nutanix cluster upgrades and expansion.\nUnderstanding of Nutanix networking, virtual networking, and security.\nExperience with disaster recovery and backup solutions supporting Nutanix.\n\nDesired Shared Skills and Experience\nExperience with enterprise virtualization technologies.\nKnowledge of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.\nExperience with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, etc.).\nStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.\nExperience with infrastructure monitoring tools.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting languages.\nExperience working in highly available, mission-critical environments.\nAbility to participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support.\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience with both Microsoft Hyper-V and Nutanix AHV.\nExperience migrating workloads between virtualization platforms.\nExperience with Microsoft Azure or hybrid cloud solutions.\nFamiliarity with VMware vSphere environments and migration strategies.\nInfrastructure as Code and automation experience.\nIndustry certifications such as: Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP)\n\nPhysical Requirements: \nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
