This position reports to the Manager, Cyber Security Ops & Identity Management, part of Pembina’s Information Services Unit.\nPembina's Information Services Unit manages and maintains the company's infrastructure, provides technical support, ensures data security and accessibility, implements new technology, strategies for future development, manages vendors, and ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations. We are building a diverse team of open-minded, adaptable and innovative people, to keep up with the changing world of technology.\nThe Cyber Security Intern will support the Cyber Operations and Identity & Access Management (IAM) teams by assisting with cybersecurity initiatives, identity governance activities, process automation, compliance reporting, and operational improvements.\nThis is an 8-month contract position starting May 2027.\nResponsibilities may include but not limited to:\nPerform role-specific responsibilities such as supporting cybersecurity initiatives, identity governance activities, process automation, compliance reporting, and operational improvements. This may also include participating in a project and presenting outcomes or learnings at the end of the term;\nSupport day-to-day work and learning activities related to the team or function, using tools such as Windows, Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, IAM-related systems, Microsoft Office, Copilot/ChatGPT, and other applicable systems;\nSupport Pembina’s safety culture of “Zero by Choice” by caring for yourself and others and following Pembina’s Life Saving Rules at all times;\nDemonstrate Pembina’s values by working in a manner that is Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful, Collaborative, and Entrepreneurial, recognizing that how results are achieved matters; and\nContribute to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace by being gracious, kind, respectful, and working effectively with others.\n Qualifications:\nBasic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices;\nCurrently enrolled in a post-secondary program and returning to school following the end of the work term;\nField of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for;\nAbility to commit to the full duration of the term and required schedule; and\nDemonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a structured environment, aligned with Pembina’s values and safety expectations. \nThe successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position.
