Join our dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of shopping.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Financial Systems team and help design, build, and scale a Finance Data Warehouse that will serve as the foundation for financial reporting, analytics, compliance, and future AI-driven use cases.\nThis role will be instrumental in standing up a finance-specific data layer sourced from systems like NetSuite (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), billing platforms, vendor management tools, and other financial data sources. You’ll work closely with Accounting, Financial Operations, FP&A, and Data Analytics partners to ensure financial data is accurate, well-modeled, and analytics-ready.\nThis is a hybrid role that blends hands-on data engineering with thoughtful data modeling and close business partnership.\nWork set-up:100% Work from home\nWork Schedule: Night Shift (Regular 9 hours per day, 5 days a week)\nWork Hours:11:00 PM - 8:00 AM (PH time)\n\n What you’ll do (duties and responsibilities)\nDesign, build, and maintain a Finance Data Warehouse in Snowflake, optimized for financial reporting, analytics, and AI/ML use cases.\n\nDevelop and manage ELT pipelines using tools like Fivetran and dbt to ingest, transform, and model data from finance and business systems\n\nOwn finance-specific data models (e.g., GL, revenue, expenses, vendors, customers) with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and traceability\n\nPartner with Accounting, Financial Operations, FP&A, and Data and other teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models and datasets\n\nEnsure data integrity, data quality, and reconciliation across source systems and downstream reporting\n\nOptimize Snowflake performance and cost through thoughtful warehouse design, query tuning, and efficient transformations\n\nImplement and maintain data governance, metadata management, and documentation to support SOX compliance and audit needs\n\nSupport downstream use cases including Tableau dashboards, ad-hoc analytics, and future AI/data-mining initiatives\n\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipelines to ensure reliability and timeliness\n\nCollaborate closely with other data engineers and platform teams to align with broader data architecture standards\n\nWhat You Bring (skills, qualifications or experience)\n5+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehouse development\n\nStrong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including warehouse design, performance tuning, and cost optimization\n\nAdvanced SQL skills with experience writing and optimizing complex queries\n\nExperience using dbt for data transformations, testing, and modeling\n\nSolid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and metadata management\n\nExperience building and maintaining reliable ELT/ETL pipelines in a cloud environment\n\nExperience preparing data for advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases\n\nFamiliarity with BI tools such as Tableau and how they connect to data warehouses\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work closely with non-technical finance stakeholders\n\nNice to Have (not required skills, but would be an added advantage)\nExperience working with financial systems such as NetSuite (ERP), billing platforms, or vendor management tools\n\nExposure to SOX controls, audit support, or finance compliance requirements\n\nExperience using Snowflake features and AI/ML capabilities\n\nPython experience for automation, orchestration, or pipeline enhancements\n\nWhy This Role Matters\nYou’ll help stand up a net-new Finance Data Warehouse, not just maintain an existing one\n\nYour work will directly impact financial reporting accuracy, audit readiness, and executive decision-making\n\nYou’ll play a key role in enabling scalable analytics and future AI-driven finance insights\n\nYou’ll partner deeply with Finance while still working on modern data tooling and architecture\n\nOur Hiring Process\nWe utilize AI tools to enhance hiring efficiency and ensure a fair evaluation.
