The role sits at the heart of our 2026 transformation: AI as how the team works, and a Generative culture where quality risks are surfaced early and failures lead to inquiry.\nWhat You'll Do:\nNative Mobile TestingTest native iOS and Android features, fixes and releases on real devices and emulators, from test design through sign-off\nRun exploratory testing and write clear test casesand bug reports with logs, screenshotsand repro steps\nCover native-specific risk: device and OS fragmentation, gestures, permissions, push notifications, deep links, app upgradesand OS updates\nTest poor or interrupted connectivity, offline and reconnect behaviour, and state recovery\nDecide which device and OS combinations matter, using real player usage data\n\nRelease Quality & AutomationBuild and maintainnative test automation (Appium or equivalent) with a maintainable framework structure (e.g.page objects), stable locators and sound waits, using AI to speed up building and maintainingtests\nDecide what to automate using risk, execution frequencyand feature stability, and push back on “automate everything”\nRun automation in CI/CD pipelines, including parallel execution across devices, with clear and reliable reporting\nFind and fix flaky tests at the root cause rather than adding retries, using AI to help triage failures\nTreat QA as an engineering problem: track and act on defect escape rate, change failure rate, test cycle time, flakinessand automation coverage, treating metrics as feedback loops, not dashboards\n\nProduct PartnershipPartner with Product and the QA Engineering Lead on acceptance criteria and what “done” looks like\nChallenge work that doesn’tconnect to player value\nTest critical player journeys, including payment and wallet flows, with a regulatory and player-first mindset\nFlesh out missing data & information for Jira tickets through independent investigation\n\nTeam Growth & CulturePair with developers and other QA engineers\nRaise quality risks early, push back on release decisions and have difficult conversations early, without theatre\nTreat failures as inquiry, not blame, and own your mistakes openly\nShare new tools and techniques that work, and help build a Generative QA culture\n\nAI-First QAUse AI to leverageand enhance your QA and test automation capabilities\nUse AI to accelerate building, maintainingand repairing native test automation\nExplore AI agents and AI-assisted automation tooling that make test execution and maintenance smarter\nCheck AI-generated tests and scripts for correctness before trusting them\nDrive AI adoption and share what works with the team\nMonitor emerging trends in QA, automationand AI, and make evidence-based recommendations for adoption\n\nWhat You Bring:\nEducation & Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field\nWork Experience: 5+ years in software QA, including native mobile (iOS and Android)\nHands-on testing of native iOS and Android apps, and how native testing differs from mobile web\nTest design and exploratory testing, with clear test cases and bug reports\nRisk-based prioritisation, and knowing when it is time to stop testing\nMobile test tooling (real devices, emulators, network throttling, logsand crash reports)\nMobile test automation (e.g.Appium) and programming fundamentals (Java, Python or JavaScript/TypeScript)\nTest automation framework design (e.g.page objects, data-driven, BDD) and handling flaky tests\nCI/CD pipelines for test automation (e.g.Jenkins, GitLab CI, GoCD)\nCrash reporting and performance monitoring (e.g.Firebase Crashlytics)\nTesting REST APIs and offline data handling\nJira and test case management (e.g.TestRail)\nPractical experience using AI to leverageand enhance QA and test automation, including judging the quality of AI-generated output, with a track recordof driving AI adoption in a team\nExperience pairing with and mentoring other engineers\nClear communication and collaboration across time zones, including flagging release risk with data and pushing back on release decisions without theatre\nNice-to-have\nIndustry experience in iGaming, sports betting or a similarly regulated, fast-paced digital product environment\nISTQB certification or equivalent recognisedQA qualification\nExperience testing AI-powered or LLM-based product features\nBackground in performance, securityor accessibility testing for mobile\nOur Hiring Process & AI Disclaimer: We use AI tools to streamline our application process-including an initial conversation with an AI Interviewer.
