This role will focus on creating detailed mechanical designs, assisting with thermal analysis, developing prototypes, and supporting product development activities. The engineer will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to help deliver reliable, manufacturable products.\nResponsibilities\nCreate and update 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings for mechanical components, enclosures, and chassis.\nSupport the design and evaluation of thermal management solutions, including heat sinks, airflow features, and cooling components.\nPerform basic thermal, mechanical, and tolerance analyses using standard engineering tools and methods.\nAssist in prototype builds, product testing, and design verification activities.\nWork with electrical, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure designs meet product requirements.\nApply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) guidelines with guidance from senior engineers.\nParticipate in material and component selection based on cost, performance, and availability requirements.\nSupport manufacturing partners and suppliers during prototype and production build activities.\nMaintain engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, test reports, and engineering change orders.\nHelp troubleshoot mechanical and thermal issues identified during development and production.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.\nTypically 3 to 5 years of mechanical design experience in electronics, computing hardware, or related products.\nExperience using CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo.\nBasic understanding of thermal management, materials, and mechanical design principles.\nFamiliarity with engineering analysis tools and laboratory testing methods.\nExperience supporting prototype development and validation testing.\nStrong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience designing mechanical components for electronic systems.\nFamiliarity with sheet metal, machined, molded, or die-cast parts.\nExposure to thermal testing and data analysis.\nExperience working with manufacturing suppliers and prototype vendors.\nKnowledge of industry standards related to product reliability and environmental
