In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cutting-edge solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements.\nResponsibilities\nProvide in depth expertise across HPC, Cloud and AI/ML domains in the enterprise space.\nParticipate in the identification, qualification and closing of sales opportunities.\nAssist with technical responses to RFIs and RFPs\nEnsure customer requirements are appropriately interpreted and contribute to the development of comprehensive solutions.\nDevelop and conduct product presentations involving product capabilities, solution architecture and design.\nServe as sales team liaison to internal technical staff such as Product Management, Operations and Engineering.\nProvide Operations team with appropriate product/cluster/network requirements and design intent to build out factory integrated solutions.\nTravel throughout the assigned sales region to perform technical sales and promote Penguin solutions vs. competitor’s solutions.\nQualifications: \nMinimum of 7 years technical sales experience, proven track record of closing sales deals\nOutstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to travel as needed up to 50% throughout the assigned region.\nA strong combination of the following:Strong knowledge of cloud technologies including Openstack and Kubernetes\nDevOps knowledge and experience\nStrong knowledge of Linux and cloud automation tools (CloudFormation, ansible or similar tools)\nLarge RFP response experience \nDesign experience in Ethernet, and low latency networking, preferably with associated switch and fabric configurations.\nStorage knowledge including parallel, block, file and object store technologies\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAWS or GCP Cloud Certifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering\nStrong knowledge of High Performance Computing (HPC) & cloud applications\nData center infrastructure knowledge\nIn-depth knowledge of Linux cluster technologies and optimization techniques \nNetwork topologies and architecture\nFile systems and Software Defined Storage e.g. Lustre, Gluster, GPFS/ESS, VAST, WekaIO, CEPH, SWIFT, Cinder\nCompensation & Benefits\nThe total cash compensation range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in United States is $185,000 - $230,000; the pay ultimately offered may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
