No heroes, no egos-just a diverse group of individuals with solid relationships built on a foundation of trust that honors our employees, guests, and investors.\nOUR VALUES\nWe Engage and We Listen\nWe Care and We Own\nWe Provide and We Ensure\nWe Appreciate and We have Fun\nJOB OVERVIEW\nTo perform maintenance and repairs on all aspects of the Hotel and premises, except for systems maintained by the IT department.\nREPORTS TO\nChief Engineer\nDIRECT REPORTS\nN/A\nKEY RELATIONSHIPS\nInternal: Managers and hourly staff\nExternal: Hotel vendors and suppliers\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nComplete general repairs, carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, painting, refrigeration, electrical, video, and commercial kitchen systems as assigned.\nAdhere to daily work schedules for each engineer to insure adequate coverage.\nPerform assigned work based on the priorities of the facility according to ability. \nComplete train in all areas of each facility and on basic problem solving as assigned.\nAttend daily, weekly and/or monthly shift meetings with crew to communicate work schedules and hotel issues as necessary. \nComplete cross training as assigned.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.\nComplete preventative maintenance on all equipment as assigned.\nCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisors as well as with each department the status of repairs for their area.\nMake safety your number one priority for employees, guest and vendors. \nAttend departmental safety meetings at least once per month and after a major safety incident.\nSupport the Safety Committee through participation and follow up on reported safety issues.\nPurchase items for the department as assigned.\nAssist in maintaining an inventory of spare parts.\nDiagnose and repair problems as needed.\nComplete tasks for the Perfect Room Program, working in conjunction with Housekeeping.\nSupport the Housekeeping Manager with the Deep Clean Projects.\nWorking as a team with maintenance personnel to handle the physical assets of the property.\nAssist with maintaining labor and supplies cost within budget.\nFollow all company policies laid out in the employee handbook.\nBe on call as assigned.\nHelp create a working environment that is safe, challenging and positive.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe physical demands & work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
