You’ll play a key role in delivering and supporting Penlink’s cloud-based and on-premise solutions for our global customers, helping agencies unlock the full potential of their data.\nYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES\nImplement, support, and maintain customer cloud-based and on-premises solutions across multiple platforms and environments.\nWork across a variety of technologies and environments, continuously developing technical knowledge and expertise.\nCollaborate with internal teams, including Application Support, DevOps, R&D, and QA, to support customer implementations and ongoing solutions.\nManage assigned tasks and projects, ensuring timely completion and effective communication of status and issues.\nParticipate in the staging, testing, and deployment of advanced technical solutions.\nDevelop, maintain, and utilize serviceability tools to support efficient implementation, troubleshooting, and ongoing customer support.\nIdentify and address technical issues across customer environments and work collaboratively to develop effective solutions.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation and contribute to organizational knowledge sharing.\nTake ownership of assigned technical solutions and customer implementation activities from planning through completion.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Application Support Engineer, Professional Services Engineer, or similar technical role.\nAdvanced knowledge of IT systems, including solution implementation, networking, servers, and web-based applications.\nStrong experience with Linux, cloud environments, and VMware ESXi.\nExperience installing, configuring, and maintaining both physical and virtual servers, including cloud and VMware environments.\nExperience supporting customer environments and working with customers across global locations.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented, hands-on approach.\nStrong task management skills and the ability to effectively influence and collaborate without direct authority.\nFamiliarity with cloud security and compliance practices.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.\nProficiency in written and spoken English.\nU.S. citizenship required.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Linux and Windows scripting languages, including Bash and PowerShell.\nExperience deploying Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.\nSolid understanding of database concepts and experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.\nExperience working with global customers in a customer-facing technical support or professional services role.\nAdditional language proficiency is a plus.\nRelevant technical certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, Linux, AWS, or Azure are preferred but not required.\nThis position currently follows a hybrid schedule requiring two days per week in our Lincoln, Nebraska office.
