The primary purpose of the Dedicated Operations Manager role is to manage the day-to-day operation of assigned Dedicated Account(s), ensuring that Safety, Customer, and Driver Goals are met or exceeded. Driving profitability through contract compliance, expense mitigation, and business growth. Focus on delivering Revenue, Operating Income, and Pretax, review financial statements to identify opportunities for improvement. Must work tactically and strategically to accomplish business needs.\nShift: Onsite, Monday-Friday, 1st Shift 6:30AM-4:30PM\nResponsibilities:\nSchedule customer shipments to meet service expectations, serving as the primary point of contact for tactical customer needs.\nEnsure accurate and timely submission of payroll in accordance with company policies.\nSubmit billing accurately and on time; collaborate with customers to resolve any billing issues promptly.\nManage daily driver interactions, addressing operational concerns and escalating issues as needed.\nCoordinate with PTL to ensure timely preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment.\nExecute company safety programs, including Smart Drive, High Risk Driver Reporting, and driver coaching.\nContribute to the development and execution of business plan goals, aligning daily operations with strategic objectives.\nOther projects and tasks as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHS Diploma / GED required\nAt least 2 years of Transportation Operation Experience required\nIndependent problem solving skills required\nIntermediate computer skills\nRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job\nWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
