The primary purpose of the Dedicated Operations Supervisor role is manage the day-to-day operation of assigned Dedicated Account(s), ensuring that Safety, Customer, and Driver Goals are met or exceeded. Driving profitability through contract compliance, expense mitigation, and business growth. This role will require up to 20%-30% travel to the Adairsville, GA location as needed based on business demands.\nShift: Monday-Friday, 12:00PM-10:00PM\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinate and schedule customer shipments to align with service requirements, acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer needs.\nEnsure accurate and timely submission of payroll in compliance with company standards.\nManage billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness; collaborate with customers to resolve any discrepancies.\nEngage with drivers to address daily operational concerns, escalating issues as necessary to maintain service quality.\nPartner with PTL to ensure all equipment receives timely preventative maintenance and necessary repairs.\nImplement and oversee company safety programs, including Smart Drive, High Risk Driver Reporting, and driver coaching initiatives.\nOther projects and tasks as assigned.\nQualifications:\nTwo years of relevant Transportation Operation Experience required, in a fast-paced environment. Operational Experience may be waived if applicable internal experience (ex: Admin).\nHS Diploma / GED required\nIntermediate computer skills\nRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job\nIntermediate Dispatch\nIntermediate geography\nBasic Finance understanding\nWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
