In doing so, we grow the organization’s capacity to serve our communities while being a positive force for good in the world.\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThis Learning and Development Consultant is responsible for supporting the execution of a portfolio of leadership development initiatives and solutions for leaders across the enterprise. This role will focus primarily on the growth and development of frontline leaders and may support other learning and development as needed. This role is responsible for administration, program management, facilitation, development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of leadership development programs and other customized solutions that align with our mission and meet the needs of the business.\nWorking under the guidance of a Senior Manager, the Consultant supports program delivery, develops and maintains program materials, and contributes to needs assessment and analysis efforts. The ideal candidate will have some experience in program management, adult learning, instructional design, and LMS management, and will bring a strong interest in facilitation and a keen attention to detail. The role requires close collaboration with program managers and T&OD partners to support seamless program delivery across the enterprise.\nThe Consultant will report to the Senior Manager, Leadership Development (Leading Others team).\nPenske’s corporate offices are located in Reading, PA, 75 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Candidates must be within a commutable distance as this role requires regular onsite presence.\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES\nIn partnership with the Leadership Development team and appropriate stakeholders:\nOperate and maintain learning technologies and systems used in the delivery of instructional and/or interactive programs or courses\n\nTrack completion data and key learning metrics; in addition to leveraging other systems and technologies needed for reporting purposes\n\nAssist in the scheduling and administration of sessions\n\nBuild and maintain relationships through effective communication with team members, internal customers, leadership, external vendors, and other parties as needed\n\nCreate and maintain training deliverables such as participant guides, facilitator guides, training slide decks, job aids, and eLearning modules\nFacilitate and/or produce interactive instructor-led training sessions (in-person and virtually), meeting participants where they are and providing a holistic development experience that leads them toward their growth edge\n\nCollaborate on strategic initiatives and projects\n\nSupport needs assessments to determine organizational learning and capability requirements.\n\nOther projects and tasks as directed by Senior Manager\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s Degree in related area of study (i.e., OD, HR, I/O Psychology) or equivalent experience required.\n\n1+ year of facilitation (virtual and in-person) experience preferred\n\n1+ year of instructional design experience preferred\n\nTechnical skills and systems knowledge of relevant learning tools (Zoom, Excel, Teams, Adobe Suite, Articulate 360, Oracle LMS, etc.) required\n\nProject and program management skills\n\nStrong attention to detail\n\n2+ years of adult learning and development experience preferred\n\nAbility to partner with operational groups and other talent development team members to ensure successful program execution\n\nStrong professional presence, communication, and interpersonal skills; quickly garners credibility with leaders as well as associates at all levels of the organization\n\nSincere hunger and curiosity for continuous learning and development\n\nDeep personal humility and strong professional will\n\nSafeguards the integrity and confidentiality of organizational strategy, associate data and information, and intellectual property rights to the highest standards\n\nRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job\n\nWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.\n\nSome overnight travel may be required.\n\nIn Talent and Organizational Development, we:\nTake a systems perspective - Everything is connected!\n\nHonor the wholeness of the human experience - Find the poetry in everyone\n\nDevelop ourselves - No one can be a guide on a path they haven’t walked\n\nStay connected to meaning and purpose.
