The training focuses on service department management, effectively leading associates and customer engagement.\nMajor Responsibilities:\nPrioritize and assign work to meet customers’ needs\n\nEnsure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske’s assets\n\nControl repair, inventory, and labor costs\n\nMeet and exceed customer satisfaction\n\nCoach and mentor technicians and CSRs\n\nMonitor associate work levels\n\nFacility management, assuring a clean and safe working environment\n\nOther duties and tasks as required by the manager\n\n Qualifications:\nAbility and desire to work in a positive, fast paced and high energy environment\n\nFull Class 5 Driver's License\n\n3-5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\n\nAssociates or Tech School degree preferred\n\nStrong customer service and organizational skills required\n\nProficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and web based applications preferred\n\nRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job\n\nWillingness to travel as necessary within the district (customers yards, close geographical area and training sites), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to employment reference checks.\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
