Responsible for shipping and receiving procedures. Responsible for ensuring that the paperwork for all shipments leaving the distribution center is complete and accurate. You will check drivers in and out throughout day, handle bills of lading (BOL’s), and utilize various systems and frequently interact with warehouse personnel and carriers.\nOur associates enjoy PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, 401K, and numerous Associate Discounts!\nPosition Details:\nMonday to Thursday 4:00pm-2:30am\n$21.00 base rate + $1.00 shift differential \nMajor Responsibilities:\nProcessing Inbound and Outbound shipments in the warehouse\nControl the flow of work to meet departure and receiving times\nRequirement for customer service acumen as the position is customer facing\nMust be able to multi-task in a high paced environment while being detail oriented\nResolve discrepancies\nCommunication with drivers, clamp truck operators, customers on site, and leadership team\nDaily use of Outlook, Excel, and Blue Yonder\nRespond to inventory issues from operators on the floor\nEnsuring system count matches physical inventory\nResolve discrepancies at location and pallet level\nInteract with warehouse associates and trouble shoot issues\n Assist with daily and weekly reports\nJointly work with Supervisors and Management to meet warehouse metrics\n Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements\nOther projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor\n Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\n1 year of shipping/receiving experience preferred\n1 year of customer service experience required\nStrong computer and mathematical skills required\nFrequent interaction with warehouse workers with daily tasks, good interpersonal skills required\nMulti-tasking required, must be able to work in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to maintain confidentiality is essential\nRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job\nWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
