You will utilize various systems and frequently interact with warehouse personnel and carriers.\nWork Schedule:\nFriday - Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM\nSchedule is for 36 hours but associate is paid for 40\nCompensation: $21.00 per hour + $1.00 shift differential\nAdditional Benefits:\nPaid Time Off\nMedical Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nLife Insurance\n401K\nAssociate Referral Program\n$125 Boot allowance after 90-days of employment\nOur associates also enjoy numerous associate discounts and opportunities to grow with the organization!\nMajor Responsibilities:\nProcessing Inbound loads and allocating outbound waves within the WMS\nVarious office and administrative duties, which may include handling accounts payable/receivable and collections, payroll, fuel reconciliation, office supplies, billing, maintaining database and miscellaneous reporting\nReporting, maintain of files, customer service interaction, resolution of pallet tracking.\nInvolve Safety team as required by location\nAssist with processing Inbound and Outbound shipments on the warehouse floor \nControl the flow of work to meet departure and receiving times \nResolve discrepancies\nInteract with warehouse associates and trouble shoot issues\nAssist with daily and weekly reports\nJointly work with Supervisors and Management to meet warehouse metrics\nPrioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements \nOther projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor\n High school diploma or equivalent preferred\n2 years of general office experience required\n1 year of shipping/receiving experience preferred\n1 year of customer service experience required\nAdvanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required\nBlue Yonder experience preferred\nRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job\nWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.\nCandidate must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English.\nPhysical Requirements:\n-The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
