Candidates must be available to work the following shifts as required by business need:\nNight Shift: 11pm - 7am \nDay Shift: 7am - 3pm \nAfternoon Shift: 3pm - 11pm\nPay: $27.17/hour\nMajor Responsibilities: \nOperate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)\nLoads and unloads trailers\nOpens and closes dock doors\nMaintain a clean and safe work area\nMove materials within the warehouse\nComplies with all safety requirements\nElectronically scan products using a warehouse management system\nUpdate existing records\nReview data for errors or inconsistencies\nCommunicating with internal departments for clarification\nUse basic math skills\nComplete quality control checks\nOther projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor\n Qualifications:\nAt least 1 year of warehouse experience with a sit down, counterbalance forklift\nMaterial-handling (using hand/power tools and hand truck) equipment experience preferred.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nProficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required\nAbility to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexibile, excellent with numbers and time management skills required\nBasic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required (where applicable by location)\nFlexible to work overtime preferred\nAbility to work in non-climate controlled conditions required\nRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job\nWillingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete a Penske employment application, submit to a reference verification (to include past employment and education) are required\nPhysical Requirements:\n-The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
