The MEP Project Manager will utilize their knowledge and expertise of MEP systems to collaborate with the project team in assisting with the management and coordination of MEP subcontractors and resolving any issues that arise.\nA PENTA MEP Project Manager will also:\nReview and interpret MEP drawings and specifications to identify potential conflicts or design issues. \nProvide technical guidance to MEP subcontractors on installation methods, material selection, and quality control. \nSet guidelines and procedures to verify compliance with design documents and building codes. \nCoordinate with other departments, such as VDC team, to ensure proper integration of MEP systems. \nManage MEP subcontractors, including selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring. \nDevelop and maintain MEP project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. \nTrack MEP costs and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. \nAddress and resolve MEP related issues that arise during the project. \nPerform quality checks on MEP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. \nPrepare reports on MEP system performance and project status.\nMaintain frequent communication with project team, architects, and other stakeholders. \nConduct regular meetings with MEP subcontractors to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions. \nParticipate in all project and team meetings as required. \nPerform all other duties as assigned that may not be listed here.\nWe trust that you have:\nMinimum 2 years of experience as a Project Manager on commercial construction projects\nMinimum 3 years of prior experience working in MEP scopes\nDegree in Construction Management or a related field; or, equivalence in years of relevant experience\nOSHA 10 or 30 Certification \nFluency in reading, quantifying, and analyzing construction drawings\nCompetent understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing\nThe ability to work efficiently on fast-paced construction projects with accelerated schedules\nExperience with follow-up and monitoring of work to ensure quality standards and attention to detail\nA positive attitude and team player mindset\n Ability to work on-site at our Tejon Hard Rock Casino jobsite in Mettler, CA. Or, flexibility to travel to or fully relocate for this project if not within a reasonable local commuting distance.\nSalary Range DOE $100,000 - $130,000\nThe PENTA Building Group maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs, and market demands. The pay range may differ in other locations. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors and is in good faith and/or offer for this position.
